Design recommend Windows 2000 hosting. There are 4 available packages
that you can choose from to best suit your hosting needs. All hosting
plans allow you direct access through FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
using any of the free FTP programs available to download. Links to
these can be found at the bottom of this page. Windows 2000 servers give you a solid and proven framework on which to build your sites. Being the only platform to fully support the latest powerful Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) standard - it's the best choice for developers who wish to exploit their existing VB scripting talents -- and use Access databases. A separate, private, directory that is not accessible via the web is used to store your database. This gives you maximum security. At MaxVista Design we also provide you access to an e-mail SMTP server, which means you are able to send mail out from your PC using our servers, meaning you would be totally independent from your dial-up ISP. Access to the SMTP server can be made using any of your POP3/IMAP mailbox login accounts. This also allows you to create a 'feedback' form on your web site that allows you to collect visitor information.
